LED Christmas Lights Energy Use

LED Christmas lights energy use is scientifically measured and tested to be 80-90% less than that of traditional Christmas lights. Less energy used results in reduced power bills and energy savings.

A typical Christmas lights string using incandescent lights uses 35 watts and hour, with a life expectancy of only 3000 hours. LED Christmas lights strings use only 4 watts per hour, and have life expectancies of 100,000 - 200,000 hours. LED Christmas lights are UL rated for 210 watts per power source, which means that as many as 40-50 light strings can be connected to a single outlet. Watts per string vary with color for LED lights, with some using less than 4 watts.
